inspiration for the album name...

Established in 1971, WHUR (96.3 FM) is a radio station based on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. It’s the originator of the “Quiet Storm” radio format (shout out DJ Melvin Lindsey) and plays primarily R+B/soul and jazz (although in recent years it has incorporated hip-hop on its playlists).
